Anterior THA

This is a healthy, active 51 year old female with end stage left hip arthritis secondary to mild hip dysplasia.

She underwent left total hip arthroplasty via the direct anterior approach (DAA). The patient stayed overnight in the hospital and went home the following day.

At 2 week follow up, the patient was walking unassisted and returned back to work full time. At week 4, she went on a vacation in Europe without issue.
