Dr. Chen begins performing surgeries at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Long Island

On June 19, 2020, Dr. Darwin Chen began a new hospital affiliation with Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. Formerly South Nassau Communities Hospital, the hospital was renamed Mount Sinai South Nassau in 2019 and is the flagship Long Island hospital for the Mount Sinai Health System. Dr. Chen is now able to provide the same high level orthopaedic care that he is known for in NYC in a local setting for patients in Long Island and Queens. South Nassau has previously received awards such as Healthgrades® America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery™, Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award™, and 5-star ratings for Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement and Hip Fracture Treatment.
